Located along one of the most pristine waterways in the United States, the South Newport River offers spectacular boating, fishing, and crabbing and access to the beaches of St. Catherines Island and Blackbeard Island forming the gateways to the Atlantic Ocean.

Our community encompasses more than 400 acres of wooded lands and salt marshes and is close to Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge. Our Island lies five miles east of I-95's exit 67. For the golfer, Belvedere sits six miles from Sapelo Hammock Golf Club and we are a 30-minute drive to several other exceptional courses. Our wild neighbors include turkey, fox, deer, and an occasional alligator or two.
